The Post-Impressionist, Vincent van Gogh, is one of my favorite artists. I love the texture created by his bold brushstrokes, and the vibrance that is so evident in his light-drenched outdoor scenes. He was a sad fellow, but his passion is what fueled his genius. He once said, “I would rather die of passion than of boredom.” And so he did. This little tribute was in insert to a piece of mail art I sent to the Netherlands this month.
